Sesalos Media Production recently launched SA Music Biz a platform for music industry professionals to learn from and equip each other with the knowledge and wisdom to succeed in the South African Music Industry.

SA Music Biz addresses the problem many of our promising music artists experience when starting out. Although they have the music, talent, passion and will to succeed, they may not have the wisdom and experience to do so.

Wisdom comes with time and experience. This is where SA Music Biz comes in. The blog brings music industry professionals together to contribute articles and blog posts about the music industry and their experiences. This platform then allows new artists to explore the blog and find out how to handle the challenges they face in the industry.

Current confirmed contributers include Glen Bo, (comedian and editor for Grrit Magazine), Mike Saunders (Ex Festival Manager and Marketing Manager at Sesalos Media Production), and Simon Garrity (Founder of Fanbasepro, the music marketing programme).

SA Music Biz plan to expand into workshops and presentations that equip music artists with the marketing and business skills to succeed.
