My Chamber
To refine the member experience we have created a special landing page called "My Chamber" where each user can customise their interation with the chambers services. Each member can choose to display quick-links to the information and services they require regularly so that they have instant access to whatever they need. From this starting point our members are able to browse deeper into the site and access the full spectrum of services.

Manage Member Details
Within the "My Chamber" page our members can now also manage their own details ensuring that their company information is always up to date. Chamber members can also create additional site users, thus enabling multiple employees of one chamber member company to interact with the chamber using their own unique username and password.

The "My Chamber" page also hosts a number of new services that can streamline the productivity of our members including a full calendering system & online quotation system.

A customised intelligent seach engine allows members to quickly find what they need, including information, services, member details and much more.

The Chamber logo is available to members for download in a variety of formats and configurations for various member display situations including, company stationery, company premises and websites.

Committee Interaction
Chamber committees are a vital element in the chambers role of lobbying government & other stakeholders on behalf of Durban business. We have taken the interaction of the committees with our membership to new level through use of powerful online communication tools including access to up to date terms of reference, committee calendars, minutes, news, message systems and most importantly an online interactive meeting agenda system where Chamber members can contribute issues to be discussed at committee meetings.

A wide selection of international trade and general business information is available through the chamber website. This information is now directly updated to the website via the staff responsible, therefor ensuring that the website is now a to minute accurate information repository.

Member to Member Quotelink
One of the most exciting and valuable new services is the Member to Member quotelink system. Chamber members are able request quotations from members in any particular sector and then receive and authorise these quotes from the messaging system on their "My Chamber" page. Our mutual rating submission system ensures that chamber members provide each other with products and services of the higest quality and creates a true trusted business environment within the Chamber.

The Global chamberlink system will be launching in the second half of the the year. This system gives the member to member quotelink international reach by allowing members from different chambers around the world to request and submit quotations to each other and turns the Durban Chamber into an exclusive international networking portal.

Members can post free classified advertisements, member to member discount vouchers, and good news stories on the Marketing section of the chamber website.
Chambers members get a reduced rate for advertising in the chamber digest and on the chamber website. The new banner ad management system ensures that chamber members are able to monitor exactly what value they are receiving for their chamber advertising.
