Collaboration 4 Change
2008-07-17
Collaboration 4 Change have released their latest single. In the Keychange Music Newsletter Dawn Mlotshwa was quoted saying:
"The song features some of South Africa’s biggest artists, including Loyiso ( the “King of R&B†in South Africa), PRO (one of SA’s best hip hop artists), and L’vovo (the pioneer of Durban Kwaito Music and winner of the 2007 Metro Award for Best Song).
Due to the recent xenophobic attacks and the wonderful response that the South African music industry has given this matter we have decided to alter the release date for the song.
Our original intention was to release the song on June 16 but with the various anti-xenophobia campaigns as well as the numerous Youth Month celebrations we felt that the song may not have achieved the desired outcomes if we released as planned. As a result, we have decided to instead release the song in July, likely 16 July. We will keep you updated on the exact release date and how you can get a copy of the song."
So the song has been released and we are waiting expectantly to see the positive impact it has. We edited a few short clips of the artists in studio at Sesalos. The video is available on You Tube and on the link below.
